“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You.”
Isaiah 26:3

What kind of person does God watch over and bless?
He blesses the steadfast. He gives peace and unlimited blessings to those who are steadfast. How do we become steadfast?

1. Depend only on God. Don’t depend on anything else!
2. Have a firm resolve. Don’t be fickle and weak-willed!
3. If you start something that is just and right, continue it despite the obstacles you face. Don’t waver!
4. When something is wrong, fix it immediately! And keep fixing it until it’s completely corrected!

Repeat after me:
I will be unwavering in my resolve!
I will be steadfast!

Being steadfast and having will power is critical in our relationship with God and others. We must work hard to become steadfast. We must depend on God and not depend on anything else. We must nurture and foster our resolve by finishing what we start and continuing good works despite the obstacles we face. And once we realize something is wrong or a sin, we must correct it immediately.
